Baby naming ceremony

A symbolic celebration that requires no licences and has no legalities.

Bringing a child into your life is a happy and joyous occasion. Sleep deprived too!!!

A Naming Ceremony is an opportunity to introduce your child to family members and close friends. It is also a wonderful time to celebrate your happiness with people who matter to you and to formally name your child in front of those that will support you and your child in the coming years.

Together we can put together a beautiful ceremony that will represent who you are as a family, the values you hold, the dreams you have for your child and that recognises the support that surrounds you. My role is to lead the proceedings, co-ordinate where things happen, how they happen and who does which bit. I can offer suggestions on readings, sayings, hands on rituals, music and would even help with the decorating if asked.

A naming ceremony can be anything you want!! Lets sing a song, read some Dr Suess, plant a tree, write something for your child to read when they are older, blow some bubbles, say congratulations with some bubbles, get Grandpop to give a speech, get guests to paint a picture and then eat some cake.
